Science of Getting Rich - A Natural F/U to The Secret

I’ve made no secret of the fact that I am a strong believer in the Law of Attraction principles. I have seen it work in my life over and over… and in the lives of those I know and care about too. I’ve been studying the Law of Attraction for a few years now. I love Bob Doyle’s site, Wealth Beyond Reason, but my latest obsession [ ;-) ] is The Secret.

Surely, you’ve heard about The Secret by now… but just in case you haven’t, it’s a wonderfully uplifting documentary that reveals the power of the Law of Attraction (the “secret” to untold health, wealth, and happiness) as told through countless interviews with experts worldwide. I loved it, but I had to pay for it initially. Now, you can watch it free online. In my last post before this one (see below), I gave you a link where you could watch a sneak peek at YouTube.com.

But what the movie doesn’t really tell you is exactly HOW to put the Law of Attraction to work in your life. I’m happy to tell you, though, that there was a follow-up put together by some of the people involved in The Secret and it DOES tell you step by step what you need to do to achieve everything you’ve always wanted.

I won’t kid you… this learning doesn’t come cheap, but when you think about the doors it will open in your life, and what potential it makes possible, I think you’ll agree you get great value for your dollar. And if you’re not sure, try out the FREE 7-lesson eCourse first. That’s what I did, and it convinced me the course is well worth it.

Here are some questions you’ll get answers to:

  • How do I Decide What Path in Life is Best for Me?
  • Are there truly no limitations to what I can seek?
  • What is the EXACT Thought Process to Apply the Law?
  • Where do Spirituality, Meditation and Religion come in?
  • How do I apply this Law to Business?
  • How does this Law work in Groups of People like Companies or Families?
  • Are there Specific Ways to Accelerate What I’m Seeking to Manifest?
  • How do I Give Back to the World?

Begin today to replace what you don’t want
by Attracting what you DO WANT.

So, if you dream of having more in your life… more money… more happiness… more abundance overall… then PLEASE… check out The Science of Getting Rich course… I promise you, you WON’T be sorry!

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Have You Found the Secret?

Filed under: Law of Attraction (General)

By now, since you’re obviously a seeker of wisdom about the Law of Attraction (you’re here, aren’t you?), you have no doubt heard of the lifechanging movie about the LOA that was released almost a year ago, called The Secret. But, just in case you haven’t heard of it… or would like to renew your acquaintance, here is a video you might like to watch. I found it extremely moving…

More on the Power of Gratitude

I‘ve written about the power of an “attitude of gratitude” previously on this site. But now there’s more I want to share with you. When life is hard and you don’t have what you want yet, you may find it hard to always be grateful for what you DO have.

I know I struggle with this sometimes. So does most everyone else I know. But living a life dedicated to gratitude is easier when you’re part of a gratitude “community,” where you can bask in support, shared experiences, and an all-pervasive gratitude mindset.

But where to find such a community, I hear you asking? Well, there’s a brand new one, just starting up. It’s called World Gratitude, and you’ll find it here:

http://www.worldgratitude.com/

Take time to read about this movement, and then make your choice about whether it’s for you. If you do decide to join, they ask for a contribution to help them continue to develop the community and the education they plan to offer. There’s going to be a 42-day event starting in June and they suggest your contribution be $42 ($1 for each day of the event), but you can decide from your heart what you want to contribute, whether more or less or exactly $42. It’s really up to you.

To be honest, I couldn’t afford the full fee right now, so I elected to give a lesser amount, but I will remind you that an important principle in the Law of Attraction is what is referred to as “tithing” by some or to use non-religious wording, simply giving, without expectation of getting something in return. Although you ARE gaining access to the world gratitude community by giving to the GoGratitude folks, I think you could look on this as “giving”, given their goals. Let your own conscience be your guide.

Here’s what I discovered when I joined World Gratitude:

There is a discussion forum, where you can meet and connect with like-minded people, share wisdom, and gain inspiration. The 42-day Manifesting Miracles Through Gratitude blog will begin on June 14, and you’ll get daily snippets of gratitude wisdom that will help you achieve your fondest desires. Soon, there will be a daily meditation you can listen to.

For me, just being able to participate in the forums is a blessing. You can talk, share, get advice, and more, even if your participation is limited to reading because you are shy. You WILL benefit regardless.

So, I encourage you, check it out. I think you’ll be glad you did.

The Importance of Mindfulness

Filed under: Law of Attraction (General)

Mindfulness—or being aware of your present moment… living in the moment—is important in your personal growth towards the things you yearn for. All of the great Law of Attraction teachers talk about mindfulness being an essential element of your success in attracting.

This article by guest author, Maya Talisman Frost, talks about mindfulness, as related to conversations you have with others…

Mindfulness and Conversation

A few years ago, I was the national outreach coordinator for the Northwest Earth Institute in Portland, Oregon. It was a very cool job.  All day long, I talked to people across the country who were interested in gathering once a week with a few friends, neighbors  or co-workers in order to discover more about their ideas, values, and habits affecting their relationship with the Earth.

Dick and Jeanne Roy, the co-founders of NWEI, had no expectations when they first made a few copies of articles they found thought-provoking and shared them with co-workers at Dick’s law firm during lunch hours.  Always a stickler for details, Jeanne carefully selected appropriate reading material and prepared an orderly flow of articles that inspired discussion and connection.

They knew they might get folks thinking. They knew they might get folks talking. They had no idea they would change the lives of thousands of participants in all fifty states.

Those copied and stapled pages became collections of stirring prose and excellent articles published by outstanding authors. The Northwest Earth Institute became the distributor of these self-published discussion guides for use in homes, workplaces, community centers and places of worship.

And yet, as I found in my daily talks with participants of all ages, it wasn’t simply the reading material that inspired people to change their lives—though it  certainly laid the groundwork for the shift.  What led to the transformations was the act of joining these small group discussions to share their ideas with others who were engaged in the same process of thoughtful discovery.

Whether the subject was voluntary simplicity, sustainable living, developing a sense of place, or teaching our children about the Earth, the courses led to some dramatic life changes in those who were longing for a sense of connection and waiting for just the right catalyst and opportunity for reflection and sharing.

We’ve all read books that inspired us. Now, imagine that you were reading that book with a group of 8 or 10 others who gathered each week to discuss a chapter for an hour.  At least, that’s the way the discussions begin.  The truth is that the chapters and questions open the door to discussion, and then that door swings wide open as each group finds their own way to explore the ideas the readings have triggered.

It’s a fascinating process to observe. I’ve facilitated these groups in numerous settings—from lunch meetings of Intel engineers to coffee gatherings of mothers with preschoolers. Each group has its own personality, but the thread that connects them is a sense of wonder and exhilaration in exploring ideas with others.

The comment I heard most frequently went something like this:  “I’ve been working next to Joe for ten years and I never would have guessed that he was so passionate about this topic or had so much in common with me.”

We tend to talk to each other on a surface level.  We veer away from discussion about what is meaningful because we don’t want to offend anyone or feel too vulnerable expressing our deepest values to someone who might not share them.

Dick and Jeanne Roy had no idea that simply giving people permission—and a structure to follow—to engage in heartfelt discussions about what matters most to them would result in new choices, new lifestyles, new careers, new non-profits, new energy and a new sense of community among participants (cumulative enrollment of over 65,000 people).

Dick always refers to “having a conversation” instead of saying he is “talking” to someone.  This simple mindfulness of the power of engaging with another person in a meaningful way was a seed that started a tremendous crop of continued awareness and connection.

What will you plant if you have a conversation about what matters most? What will happen when you sow the seed of an idea in the fertile imagination of a deep, rich mind?

Start sowing, and see what starts growing.

Transform Your Life with a Gratitude Mindset

Do you know about the power of gratitude in your life? Yes, it’s true… when you live life filled with thankfulness for the blessings in your life, those blessings will continue to multiply day by day.

I’ve studied many different thought leaders about the Law of Attraction and related metaphysical matters. One recurring theme throughout all of them, no matter their differences, is the need to express gratitude.

Sandy Forster, of WildlyWealthy.com talks about having an “attitude of gratitude” and that gratitude expands your energy and is the key to riches. She encourages you to keep a “Grateful Journal.” I’ve done this, and it’s a powerful tool in helping you to recognize all of the little things in life that you are grateful for.

You’d be surprised how many little things you come up with when you start keeping a list of all the things you’re thankful for. For example, I woke up this morning with gratitude in my heart for the glorious sunny day, where I can marvel at the brilliant blue, big Montana sky glowing over my beautiful shining mouintains all around my town. Fabulous!

I’d highly recommend Sandy’s book, “How to Be Wildly Wealthy Now” if you’d like an easy read at a reasonable price. I’ve read a lot of different things about the Law of Attraction, but Sandy’s book really resonated with me. I don’t know if it’s because she’s a single mom or a woman or what, but I really connected with her style of communication. She runs a great free teleseminar series at her website too, so take advantage of it if you can.

Someone else who writes about the power of gratitude is Bob Doyle of WealthBeyondReason.com. Bob writes, in his ebook, “By generating strong feelings of appreciation for what you have and what you will have, you attract the circumstances that will facilitate more of those feelings. So when you are truly grateful – meaning that you bathe in the feelings of being truly blessed with what you have – you will attract more things for which to be thankful. You have created a “space” for more things to come to you that will make you FEEL gratitude.” Illuminating, yes?

But what I really wanted to tell you about today was the GoGratitude experiment, which I learned about a couple of months ago from a client of mine. It’s a site dedicated totally to the idea of infusing gratitude into every aspect of your life. They offer a free email course which is quite powerful, but first you’ll want to watch their video about how it all got started.

Stacey Robyn, the creative force behind the GoGratitude experiment tells us that “Gratitude is the Master Key that opens all doors of possibility… of opportunity, abundance, and celebration.”

I strongly encourage you to visit the GoGratitude.com website… I think you’ll be absolutely amazed by what you find there.

How to Attract Love, Health, and More

You have to know how to attract love, health, and more. It’s not enough just to want them.

This article, by our guest author, Maria Moratto, goes a long way towards helping you attract what you want in life. I highly recommend that you take the time to read it carefully, and then reflect on its meaning to your life plan…

Attracting Love, Health, Wealth, and Happiness

By Maria Moratto

Of course, the intensity to which you desire to achieve any of these life elements varies, according to your values, upbringing, and beliefs. But in reality, this variation has more to do with the element that is lacking in your life rather than your values. Obviously, if you are healthy but broke you will intensify the desire to have more abundance and money.

Or, if you have money but lack a life partner or social life, you will focus on attracting a mate or increase your circle of friends. Perhaps you have a great social life but don’t feel too well physically or emotionally. No doubt as to what you will be looking for. This said, know that all these elements must be present in your life if you want to have a balanced lifestyle. Only then you will achieve total happiness.

Now, how can you attract what you are lacking, so that you too can be totally happy? This is tricky for, according to the Law of Attraction, what we focus on becomes reality. By that, I mean that, if you lack romance in life, you will probably be focusing on this lack and working desperately to fill it. What happens here is that, spiritually speaking, you enter in a vicious circle that will required great concentration and work on your part to get out of.

Simply put, you focus on the lack, the universe gives you what you are focusing upon, and as certain as the sun follows the moon and vice versa, you receive the same lack you are focusing on. The more you receive, the more you will focus on and hence, the more you will receive. Yikes!

What you need to do is to reverse the situation. Oh, yeah, this is difficult in the beginning, but very doable. And when you get the hang out it, changing your focus from the lack to the abundance becomes a cinch.

So how do you reverse the situation? By catching your thoughts when they come — a hundred times a day — and immediately giving them an antidote by means of affirming exactly the opposite, like this:

So, when you think: “I don’t have money” you say: “I am in the process of attracting money.” Likewise, when you think: “Nobody likes me” you say: “I am in the process of attracting like-minded friends.” You think: “I am in pain” you say: “I am becoming free.” You think: “I am bored” you say: “Life can be quite exciting.” And so on and so forth.

Got it? So don’t delay. Start attracting what you want and not what you lack.

Wealth Beyond Reason Can Be Yours

Can it be true?  Can  you actually achieve all of the wealth you’ve always dreamed of? The answer to that question is a qualified “yes.” Why, qualified?

Well, because you can’t just want to be rich; you have to actually work at it. But not in the way you’ve always heard. I don’t mean you have to work hard at a job or a business, though there’s certainly no harm in that. No, I’m talking about working hard towards making yourself “be” wealthy.

How do you do that? Well, it’s not that hard, if you know where to get some help…

I found that one of the best resources for me in getting into the “wealth mindset” was a website called Wealth Beyond Reason, put together by a guy named Bob Doyle. Bob put together this wonderful membership site, with all sorts of wealth-consciousness resources, including audio, video, print and more. It’s an education, and one you can take on at your own pace.

But, here… listen to what Bob, himself has to say…

God Doesn’t Say “No”… YOU Do!

There are a couple of things you’ve probably heard said over and over. The first is, “Why doesn’t God answer my prayers?”. What you’ll generally hear next is the response which goes something like, “God DOES answer your prayers. Sometimes he just says ‘No’”.

The fact is, it’s not God who says “No”. In fact, God - the infinite source of “All that Is”, ONLY says “Yes”! God is the ultimate “creation” mechanism. God responds PRECISELY to YOUR creative catalyst.

So you say, “Well, I’ve been asking God for money, but he hasn’t given it to me.”. The answer lies in HOW you are asking! Remember that God - the Universe - responds in a very precise way! It’s a matter of Quantum Physics! If your prayer goes something like, “Dear God. I’m in trouble. I have no money. I can’t pay any of the bills. I need money!”, then THAT is what will be real for you. You WILL be in trouble. You WILL have no money! You WON’T be able to pay the bills, and you WILL NEED MONEY.

The Universe feeds back to you what you give it - and in fact, amplifies it!

If who you are “being” is a person with what we’ll call “lack consciousness”, then LACK will be your reality! Every thought you have about “not having” will be mirrored in your experience of reality.

Do you desire wealth? Then BE wealthy first, and the Universe will respond.

The fact is, we are here for the express purpose of creating our realities and living incredible lives. We are the manifestation of God’s experience in the physical. God does not desire for us to live in lack, and in fact strongly desires that we have everything we desire. It is WHY we have desires in the first place! We are not only meant to have our desires realized, but we have the ability to have them manifest in our lives WHENEVER we want! However, our egos and limiting belief systems have distorted our power. We have made ourselves “small”. We have created thoughts about wealth and prosperity that make them inaccessible to us. Yet they are RIGHT THERE…waiting for us to experience them.

God does not say, “No, you may not experience wealth.” God says, “YES! EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING!”. However the “mechanics” of reality creation require you to BELIEVE that you already have the things you desire. That’s why it’s so easy for so many people to experience “lack”. It’s easier for them to believe that they “can’t have something” than it is for them to have everything they want because they have all this external “evidence”. The fact is, however, that it is just as “easy” to have either one. It is simply a matter of your belief.

Your current experience is the PERFECT manifestation of your current belief system. It is the EFFECT, not the cause. YOU are the cause your experience. When you can integrate that, you can begin to create consciously from the inside out (which is the only way you CAN create). You can break out of the “loop” which has you believing that your external circumstances are causing your experience.

You must understand that whatever your experience is right now, it is God (the Universe, All that Is) saying “YES” to whoever it is you are being, thinking, speaking, and acting. To create consciously you MUST “be”, “think”, “speak”, and “act” that your desires are already fulfilled - and they shall be. To the extent that you do these things, you will experience the “yes” that you REALLY desire from God much more quickly.

Thinking Rich

Are you thinking rich… or just waiting to grow wealthy? It’s important to understand the distinction. This article by guest author, Bob Doyle, of WealthBeyondReason.com explains the difference.

So you’ve read “Think and Grow Rich”, and you’ve got an intellectual understanding that you “become what you think about”. You have a list of affirmations about wealth, and you recite them every day.

But you still have no money. Wealth doesn’t seem to be anywhere around.

What’s the deal here? According to Napoleon Hill, you ought to be filthy stinkin’ rich, right?

Well, here’s the real deal: If you’re not “Wealth Conscious”, then all this thinking, and all this affirming isn’t going to bring you wealth. Thinking, and affirming are simply actions you’re taking. But they are just PART of the sequence of creating wealth. If you skip the FIRST step, you simply can’t get anywhere.

So what’s the first step?

Being.

To attract wealth, you first have to BE wealthy. THEN, you think wealthy thoughts, speak wealthy affirmations, and take wealthy action.

“But how can I BE wealthy if I’m NOT wealthy?” you ask. Logical question, but it’s based on the false assumption that you don’t have wealth. You HAVE wealth. You’re simply not aware of it. You have constructed a physical reality that prevents you from experiencing Wealth. This can all be explained with the science of Quantum Physics.

So let’s look at some very basic concepts of Quantum Physics that will explain what I’m talking about.

First, you probably are aware - at least on an intellectual level - that at a subatomic level, we, and everything else in the Universe, is Energy. When you break everything down, we’re all made of the same stuff, and we’re all connected. The Universe is just this huge ocean of Energy, vibrating at various frequencies which gives the illusion of individuation. That is, we experience the illusion of separateness from each other, physical objects, and wealth because our “senses” are decoding the Energy around us in such a way as to create our physical reality.

This all happens in our thoughts.

So, to simplify things quickly here for the sake of time (another illusion), “things” only exist because we observe them. It is in our observing that things come into existence. Without our observing, things are simply “waves” - probabilities of existence. Physicists agree on this.

Our beliefs are a very powerful Energy system in our lives. Our beliefs allow or disallow certain experiences in our lives, including wealth. They make up who we are. We “BE” in the world according to our beliefs. If we are being is “someone who is trying to get wealthy by repeating affirmations”, then THAT is what our reality will be. We will just be TRYING to get wealthy.

We have to make the decision that we ARE wealthy, contrary to any external physical evidence. That evidence is an illusion based on the belief systems that have guided who we have been being up to that point.

A truly wealthy person isn’t wealthy because they have money. They have money, because they are wealthy! That’s the distinction that most people have backward!

Here’s an example to illustrate what I mean:

Tony Robbins became a millionaire at a very young age. Then, due to a series of poor judgments, he lost it. But within a year, he had it back. How did he do this? HE NEVER LOST HIS WEALTH. He only lost his money, which is just a symbol of wealth! Because he is “Wealth Conscious”, he literally “magnetically attracts” wealth into his life. He truly can’t help it! It’s who he is! And there are thousand out there like him, who attract wealth simply because it’s who they are. You can make the same decision and have the same results.

Conversely, a person who has grown up with “lack consciousness” can win millions in the lottery and lose it within a year. Their consciousness - their ENERGY - simply can’t maintain the attraction to Wealth because they aren’t “wealthy” in who they are being.

But again, Wealth is a decision. If you aren’t currently experiencing wealth, you first need to realize that abundance is everywhere…in fact it’s all there is. Poverty and lack are the illusions. You can shift your consciousness to Wealth - BE Wealth - by simply making the decision, THEN your thoughts, speech, and action will allow you to experience the wealth that is yours!

This is indeed a complex subject which challenges our core belief systems. But it is those very belief systems that keep a person in a state of lack.

Look at your financial situation today. Look at your core beliefs about Wealth and You, and see if your life isn’t a PERFECT reflection of your beliefs. Then, look where those beliefs may have originated. When you can awaken to yourself that your beliefs create your reality, rather than the other way around, you have the option to truly be free to experience a reality of prosperity that you deserve!
